Zion National Park: The Road Less Traveled

We’d all been to Zion before, and for the OG’s of Los Boyz, this was round two. But this time, we wanted to mix it up. Instead of taking the usual route through the bustling Springdale entrance, we decided to come in from the North side, the road less traveled.

The adventure started with a night of camping in Snow Canyon State Park, a perfect warm-up before hitting Zion. The next day, we made our way to the park, loaded up with our pots, pans, and gourmet food. Sausage sandwiches for dinner, chorizo and eggs for breakfast—Los Boyz don’t skimp on the good stuff. We weren’t sure about the water situation, so we lugged around a big jug, taking turns with it to be sure this precious resource made it to the campsite with us.

We ate well, got a little rain, and explored the stunning, empty landscape of Zion without another soul in sight. It was a perfect way to experience the park, away from the crowds. By the end of it, we knew one thing—Los Boyz was gaining momentum, and we were ready for more.
